World Series of Poker Renews Online Poker Partnership|WSOP News

888 Holdings announced that it has extended its B2B partnership with Caesars Interactive Entertainment for many years. No deadlines or specific monetary terms were disclosed in Tuesday’s press release. The result is that 888 will continue to be the software provider for the World Series of Poker on the online poker website. Caesars owns the World Series of Poker brand.
The online poker industry is currently operating in only four states: Nevada, New Jersey, Delaware and Pennsylvania. has branches in Nevada and New Jersey. 888 also provides a platform for three online poker rooms operated by racino in Delaware. Although they are not brands of the World Series of Poker. However, they did share player mobility with in Nevada and New Jersey and formed the American Poker Network (AAPN). This is the only interstate poker network in the United States (also a network that has never used any name).
However, Delaware players did not participate in the online World Poker Tournament. Because they are not actually playing on

American expansion
Yaniv Sherman, 888’s senior vice president, head of the United States, said in the announcement: “Among other things, we are also excited about the prospect of adding NSW to our unique interstate poker network in 2021 and beyond. We believe this will Drive significant growth in NSW. The mobility of poker players on the 888 platform."
There is speculation that 888/ may expand in the United States. This undoubtedly confirms that 888 and Caesars are confident to make a difference this year. Pennsylvania is an obvious answer to's expansion. We assume that they will use the WSOP brand. Because it is one of the only states in the four online poker states not on the AAPN. There is also very little competition. The only online poker room currently living in Keystone State is PokerStars. This is really a competitor. But this is still the only one. Pennsylvania regulations also allow interstate poker contracts.
Another possibility is Michigan. Although the Magic Eight Ball would say the prospects there are dim. Michigan is finally ready to start online gaming on Friday. But currently it is only sports betting. The state has legalized online poker. But there is no discussion about when the poker room will be launched.
online casino games may follow. Because they are easier to implement and more profitable. Due to the player-to-player aspect of the game, poker is the most difficult game to test and the least profitable game among the three main categories of online games. So naturally ranked among the priorities. It is entirely possible that online poker will be launched in Michigan this year. But it is entirely possible that it will not.
